2007 IMG VISA STATUS POLL RESULTS

On my Residency Interviews Tips Blog, I had silently run a "Visa status" Poll for IMGs who were interviewing for the 2007 Residency Match to get a rough idea - will not be by any means accurate, but then aren't statistics about the forest rather than the trees ?

Here's how the figures looked for 2007 Residency Match:

Total IMG Votes = 376


Visa Type    No. of Votes   (%)

Green Card     = 118       = 31%
B1/B2 Visa     = 82        = 21%
H1/H4 Visa     = 63        = 16%
F1/F2/OPT      = 41        = 10%
J1/J2 Visa     = 28        = 7%
US Citizen     = 29        = 7%
Others(L,K,O)  = 15        = 3%

Do not confuse these with what Visas these IMGs are seeking - these are visas that IMGs already had at the time of interviewing for the residency match.
